In Part 6 of the Positive Mealtime Experience series, you will explore how individual needs and preferences shape the dining experience for each client. The course covers common meal preferences such as timing, location, and chosen companions, as well as seating arrangements, meal size, appetite, routines, and snacks.
You will also consider health conditions that may affect mealtimes and the importance of recognising a person’s swallowing and chewing abilities. By the end of this module, you will be able to support safe, comfortable, and person-centred mealtime experiences tailored to individual needs.
