Course Overview

Social skills are the foundation of friendships, cooperation, and belonging. This course helps educators understand how children learn to share, take turns, problem solve, show empathy, and become active contributors to their world.

Grounded in EYLF Outcome 2: Children are connected with and contribute to their world (with links to Outcome 1), you’ll explore how everyday routines and play build confidence, fairness, and respect for diversity. With practical strategies and clear links to theory, this course shows how educators can nurture positive relationships, guide conflict resolution, and create inclusive environments where every child feels they belong.
