What's new
Cloud Assess has overhauled the calendar experience across the platform. The primary view is now called My Calendar, and it comes with a set of new tools for filtering, overlaying multiple schedules, and saving your workspace preferences.
Key changes include advanced filtering for deadlines and event types, a multi-calendar overlay for staff and learner schedules, and sticky views that remember your settings between sessions.
Who is this for?
- RTO administrators and operations managers who coordinate multi-trainer schedules, manage intake planning, and need visibility across team capacity without switching between screens.
- Trainers and assessors who need a clear, up-to-date view of their upcoming observations, classes, and marking deadlines – without the noise of other people’s schedules getting in the way.
Why it matters
Coordinating training schedules across multiple trainers, locations, and learner cohorts is time-consuming. When that information lives across separate screens or spreadsheets, checking availability and planning ahead takes longer than it should.
The updated calendar brings everything into one view. Overlay the schedules you need, filter down to what’s relevant, and your settings stay in place when you come back. Less time navigating. More time on the work that matters.
Key features
- My Calendar – The updated interface replaces the legacy Training Calendar. It loads a clean default view showing your personal events – no filters applied, no other schedules overlaid unless you choose to add them.
- Team overlays (up to 10 calendars) – Click Add Calendars in the top right to open a side panel. From there, select and overlay up to 10 assessor or learner schedules on a single screen. Useful for identifying availability gaps, planning observations, or coordinating across a large team.
- Sticky workspace filters – Any overlays or filters you apply are automatically saved. Navigate away to another part of the platform and come back – your calendar settings will be exactly as you left them.
- Event type and deadline filtering – Toggle between specific event types – such as training sessions or workshops – and due items to isolate pending tasks or activities. Useful when you need to focus on a specific part of your workload.
- Intake and profile views – Calendars within specific intakes show only the events and deadlines relevant to that group of learners. Individual user profile views show a single person’s schedule, with permission-based controls that automatically restrict access where the viewer doesn’t have the required scope.
How to get started
The updated calendar is live now for all Cloud Assess workspaces – no setup required.
Log into your dashboard and navigate to Training > My Calendar. Use the Add Calendars button to start overlaying team schedules.
